Five years ago I was in a car accident, damaging two ribs. The pain was excruciating, and after three sessions, the pain lessened enough for me to go back to yoga and daily exercises. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Jo-Jo for structural bodywork.

I am a choreographer, a trauma therapist, and a Jungian Psychoanalyst. For the past twenty years I have been scheduling Handle With Care sessions with Jo-Jo Salami. His unique form of bodywork helps me psychologically and physically and allows me to lead a full and demanding life. Jo-Jo has kept me going as a dancer and a psychotherapist. This makes it possible to choreograph, run the Dreamscape Project Group, and to take dance class with increased balance and joy. His extensive training in energy work and structural bodywork, along with an amazing depth of intuitive awareness, have also allowed me to let go of dysfunctional patterns and to experience pain-free surgery when it was needed. I sometimes carry a lot of built-up tension from an overload of emotional intensity. Jo-Jos expertise, capacity to tune in to my concerns, humor, and kind presence always bring healing to my body, mind, and soul.
Artistic Director and Choreographer (The Dreamscape Project Group)
My name is Chris Johnston. I am the co-owner of Supershag Productions and Dance Studios, BBC&C- A Legendary Celebration and Caribbean Dance-Sport Championships. I was the former US, English, Irish and Finnish Latin Dance-Sport Champion and I am a World Class Adjudicator.
I have known Jo-Jo for 20 years and the biggest compliment I can give him is that I do what he tells me to do. If I am broken he fixes it. The man is a genius. I have no idea what he does sometimes but that is OK.
I also recommend that any time my staff or students are having trouble then they should dance their little bottoms up to Brookline as quickly as possible.
I am currently on tour with the stage production of Dirty Dancing playing the lead Frances 'Baby' Houseman. Touring life is very demanding physically, emotionally and spiritually as you perform 8 shows a week and often travel on your day off. When I came to Jo-Jo I felt locked up and powerless. I had closed myself off in order to just "get through" my weekly schedule. Jo-Jo freed me from the coils I had wrapped myself in and began deep healing in my body. I'm so grateful for his sensitivity, creativity and practicality of his work. He truly is a miracle worker!
